Hello Dipika,
As you related to science stream, so CSIR NET exam is the better option for you on the place of UGC NET exam. As per the CSIR NET exam guidelines, you can apply for the exam in your post-graduation subject or related to that subject. According to your qualification, you can appear for the CSIR NET Chemical Science exam, if you have minimum 55% aggregate marks in M.Pharma. Reserved category candidates get the 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks.

Hi,
The best subject to choose for UGC NET examination is the subject in which you have done your graduation and post-graduation because Paper 2 of the examination is totally a subject-oriented paper which you have chosen while filing up the application form of UGC NET. You can select any subject for UGC NET while applying for the examination. Now why I am saying that you should go for the subject in which you have sought your graduation and post-graduation degree. Hello Sunil,
For life Science graduates, CSIR NET exam is there. UGC NET exam is only for home science graduates. In CSIR NET exam, there is subject code 304 for Botany students.

Hello Dimya,
You are from the computer field and don't get confused between computer science and IT. According to the norms of NTA, UGC NET aspirant have to choose the subject which is related to their post-graduation. As you have mentioned in the above query, you have completed your M.Tech from IT. You have to opt for UGC NET Computer Science & Applications. UGC is held twice in a year June and December. For this year 2019, June exam forms are out till 30th March 2019. Fill the forms before the due date.

Hello,
UGC NET is conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December. The basic eligibility to appear in this exam is, an aspirant should have completed their Masters' or is in the final year of their Post-Graduation. As you are from the Statistics background, you can choose any of the subjects either UGC NET Commerce or CSIR NET in Mathematical Science. But being from this background, you should go for CSIR NET in Mathematical Science rather than UGC NET. According to the UGC NET guidelines, you can apply for the exam in the subjects of your post-graduation or related subjects. As you have done MBA in Finance and Marketing, so you can appear for the exam in UGC NET Economics, UGC NET Commerce and UGC NET Management. You can select one of these subjects according to your interest in them. And make sure that you will fulfill all the eligibility criteria of exam. Hello,
According to the CSIR NET exam guidelines, candidates who have completed post-graduation or are in the qualifying year of Masters' degree, are applicable for the exam. So, if you are in the first year of post-graduation, you have to wait for almost one year. CSIR NET exam is conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December. To appear for the exam you must have minimum 55% aggregate marks if you are belong to General/OBC category or 50% aggregate marks when you are from SC/ST/PwD category.

Hello,
To become eligible for UGC NET Exam, you must have completed a Master's degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks. As PGDM is a post-graduation Diploma, you can apply for NET Exam. Make sure you also meet with other required eligibility criteria to appear in NET Exam. As per the latest news, the UGC NET Exam will be conducted for 81 subjects. So, you will have to select the subject in which you have pursued PGDM.

As you are from Maths stream and maths subject is covered by CSIR-NET. You are supposed to apply for CSIR-NET. This exam is mainly conducted for the Post-Graduation students who are from Science stream
CSIR-NET is conducted in 5 subjects excluding the compulsory subject which is General Aptitude.
1. Life Sciences
2. Chemical Sciences
3. Physical Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
