You can apply for the NET exam if you have done your post-graduation or you are in a qualifying year. You must have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters. But UGC NET is not conducted in development studies, you have to select any other similar subject to apply for the exam. From Dec 2018, the UGC NET exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the place of CBSE. NTA has been started the UGC NET 2018 Apply Online process from 1st September 2018 and candidates can apply till 30th September 2018.

To qualify the UGC NET Exam, you must have to get minimum cutoff marks in the subject for which you appear in the exam. The minimum cut off marks will depend on various factors like the number of aspirants who appear in the exam, difficulty level of the exam etc. If you are planning to appear in UGC NET December 2018 Exam, then start preparing now. NTA will conduct NET Exam for the very first time. If you have any other doubt related to UGC NET Exam, then you can ask through comments.
