Such courses are given equal weightage as the post-graduation courses. Hello Tarak, As per your qualifications you can appear in the UGC NET exam but only when you complete you 1st year that would be 2nd semester. You will be eligible when your will be in the final semester of your posy-graduation. With this you can start your preparation for UGC NET Social Work. Aspirants who pursued master's degree in Education can apply for UGC NET Education subject. This is the minimum eligibility criteria for the National Eligibility Test. If you are applying for UGC NET for JRF then the age limit is 30 years. But if you want to apply for Lectureship then there is no age limit. Hello, On behalf of UGC, NTA (National Testing Agency) conducted the UGC NET Exam. This exam is held twice in a year (June and December). There are almost 81 subjects are included for which candidates can apply.
There is two paper included in UGC NET Paper 1 and paper 2. It is a computer-based test in which no negative marking for a wrong answer or unattempted questions. Time duration is also fixed as 1 hr and 2 hr for paper 1 and paper 2 respectively.

Hi Sagaria, No, there is no GK section in UGC NET. But from December 2018 NTA changed the exam pattern. UGC NET is noe conducted in 2 paper where Paper-1 is a general aptitude paper which is common for all the aspirants and Paper-2 is the selective paper. Hi,
The best way to get any update and notification is by checking the official site itself. However, usually official websites release the notifications suddenly at the last moment which makes it really difficult to keep the track. It is not possible to check the website for notification every hour leading to miss the date.
