Hello,The National Testing Agency has conducted the UGC NET Dec 2018 Exam from 18th December to 22nd December 2018. Total 956837 candidates had applied for this exam and only 681930 appeared for both the exam. Candidates who appeared in UGC NET Exam and wish to get the detailed information about UGC NET Result and Cut Off marks must read this - http://bit.ly/2SEeTIn click to read. NTA has announced the result on 5th January 2019. The total number of qualified candidates in UGC NET Dec 2018 Exam are 47884 from which 44001 are qualified for Assistant Professor and 3883 candidates qualified for JRF & Eligible for Assistant Professor both.

The UGC NET Exam is for the aspirants who want to be an Assistant Professor or researcher. National Testing Agency conducts this exam two times a year in July and December. A candidate can appear in both these exams if he/she wants to get the better result.

Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Allahabad is an UGC approved university. So, you are eligible to appear for UGC NET exam with M.Com. As you have 74% aggregate marks in Masters, you fulfill the educational criteria of the UGC NET exam. If you want to apply for NET JRF then you have to fulfill the age criteria also I. e. your age must not more than 30 years if you belong to General category or if you are from

The best option for you is apply for the CSIR NET Life Sciences exam on the place of UGC NET. This exam is also conducted for those candidates who wants to become researcher or lecturer and related to the Science stream. You can check out the complete details related to the CSIR NET exam from here - http://examnews.wikidot.com/key-factors-of-csir-net-2018-exam must check out. To apply for the CSIR NET exam, you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters' degree if you coming from the General/OBC Category or if you are from ST/SC/PwD category then you should have minimum 50% aggregate marks in post-graduation

Hello Shilpa,The UGC NET exam is held for around 100 subjects and the cutoff marks is different for each subject. If we see the previous year cutoff marks for English, the Cut off marks for July 2018 varied from 52% to 60% marks. The Dec 2018 exam pattern was different as the exam was held in online mode only. Thus there could be changes in the cut off marks. If you comes between the cutoff marks above 55% then you can be qualified for the NET exam. The result for NET exam will be release on 10 January as per the Schedule. So be alert, keep checking the official notification and check the cutoff marks from the official website.
