Hello Sakshi,
Yes, you can apply for the UGC NET exam. As you say, you have done M.Sc. With IT then the best option for you is UGC NET Computer Science and Applications. But make sure that you will fulfill all the requirements of the NET exam. You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks. If you want to apply for JRF NET exam then you have to fulfill age criteria also. Your age must not be more than 30 years. For assistant professor there is no limits on age. As per your Post graduation, you can opt for Commerce subject, where you face the subjects of Commerce, Economics, Accounting and finance. And the subject code is 008. All the Best for your future.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in UGC NET exam. But, I doubt whether you can meet the eligibility criteria to apply for government. Job. It may vary. Though, you can do a private job where there is no such restriction.

Hello Avni, Yes, you can appear for UGC NET exam if you have done your Masters. As per the UGC NET exam guidelines you have to select the subjects for the exam according to your post graduation subject. You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in M.Com. And if you are want to apply for NET JRF then your age must not exceed 30 years. Or if you want to be an assistant professor, there is no age criteria for that. Hello,
The NET exam is mainly conducted in the month of June and December for more than 80 subjects. The best thing about the NET Exam is that it has no age limit. So, all the candidates completed Master's degree with 55% can appear in the NET Exam. The age limit to qualify the NET Exam is 30 years (5 years more for the Reserved and Female Candidates). If you clear the NET JRF Exam you can avail the NET scholarship worth INR 25000 per month.
