The application fee for UCD is €50. In order to get your application reviewed, students are required to pay the application fee. To pay the application fee, follow the steps given below:
- First of all, log into your application
- Then, select ‘my applications’ and then, sign into an existing account
- Next, under the ‘checklist’ items next to the application fee, select the button to pay the application fee
- After this, you will be given other instructions on how to pay. The University College Dublin application fee can be paid via credit or debit card

According to various sources, University Colleg Dublin acceptance rate is 20%. This means that UCD is highly selective of its applicants when it comes to admissions. Indian students who want to take admission to the undergraduate courses of UCD are required to have at least 70% - 85% (Depending on the subject, exceptions are there) in Class 12. For graduate programs, generally, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a second class honors is required.

Undergraduate
- The applicants must have completed Class 12 from CBSE / CISCE / Intermediate exam (some state boards) / Higher or Senior School Certificate / Examination (most state boards)
- Average is calculated on the best 5 recognised subjects. The average varies as per the subjects
- English Language Requirements: CBSE / AISSCE / CUSCE / ISC – English Language 80% OR TOEFL / IELTS or equivalent
Postgraduate
- For graduate programs, usually, a minimum of bachelor’s degree with a second class honors is required

IELTS is basically a British test, if you have applied for an institute in British Commonwealth then go for IELTS else you can take up TOEFL which is also widely accepted. As far as I know, TOEFL is accepted in Ireland.

You do meet the admission requirement for Ireland universities, but Ireland does not accept more than 5 backlogs, if possible, you can make it up in statement of purpose providing the admission body the proper explanation for it.
