Indian students who don't meet the entry requirements can still get into Uni of Huddersfield. This can be done by completing a Huddersfield University pathway program. To apply for the same, contact the HUD International Study Centre.

Huddersfield Uni does not normally waive English proficiency requirements for speakers of other languages, who completed a English-taught programme in their home country (including India).
This means, interested Indian students need to meet the course-specific English requirements to be eligible for studies here.
IELTS score of 6.0 with no band below 5.5 is usually the ask for most courses at the Uni of Huddersfield.

Students applying via UCAS for Huddersfield Uni UG courses do need to pay an application fee. This is usually between GBP 22.50 and GBP 28.50 (INR 2.9 K and INR 3.6 K), as per the number of course choices.
However, for PG courses, students can submit a direct application. No application fee is charged for the same. Shiksha Study Abroad counsellors can guide you on how to pay the same.

Entry to degree programs can be achieved by a score between 60%-65%. This is assuming other documents like personal statement, prior work experience, and English proficiency are in order.

Yes, the Uni of Huddersfield can be a very good option for Indian students for the reasons mentioned below:
- Huddersfield among the top 10 UK locations for affordable student rent (GBP 136 or INR 17.5 K) per week
- The university offers several scholarships to Indian students worth up to GBP 4,000 (INR 5.15 Lakhs)
- Option to stay and work in the UK for a minimum 2 years (via UK Post Study Work Visa)
- Strong graduate employment record (98% of all PG and 94% of all UG students of the Class of 2023 were either employed or pursuing further studies within 15 months of graduating)

No, the University of Huddersfield doesn't issue work permits for its international student. Moreover, international students are can work up to 20 hours per week during their semester. Furthermore, international students can work full-time during their semester holidays. Moreover, the Huddersfield University suggest its international students to not work more than 15 hours a week to focus more on their studies.

Yes, the University of Huddersfield allows its full-time international students to work part-time. However, there are certain requirements that full-time international students must meet. International students are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during their semester. However, international students can work full-time during their semester holidays. Moreover, the Huddersfield University suggest its international students to not work more than 15 hours a week to focus more on their studies.
