Yes, Indian students can pay their fees in installments at the U of T Canada. The university uses a 2-part instalment plan for students to pay their dues for the Fall/Winter semesters.

The first instalment worth half the tuition fee is due sometime in August for the Fall intake. The second instalment is due in November.

In some cases, students may also be eligible for payment deferrals. Check utoronto.ca to know more.

Indian students need to pay a non-refundable deposit worth CAD 5,000 (INR 3.45 Lakhs) to accept their offer and hold their spot at Uni Toronto.

This is not an extra fee. It applies directly towards a student's overall tuition costs. Deposits can be paid via the ACORN portal. Flywire and Convera are also acceptable modes of payments.

MPR at the U of T needs to be paid to confirm registration. The MPR also includes any unpaid fees from previous sessions. Students can find the exact MPR amount on the ACORN portal.

Students receiving a government financial aid, have a tuition waiver, third-party sponsor, or award, may be eligible to defer their fees.

The University of Toronto offers on-campus accommodation to international students. However, you can choose to live off campus as well. Other than the tuition fees a major portion of your expenses in the university will go towards your accommodation, food, and other stuff and on campus, these expenses might range from CAD 8,000 to CAD 15,000 per academic year. Also, your living expenses in Canada will depend on various factors such as your lifestyle, type of accommodation you choose and your personal expenses. However, off-campus living may cost you up to CAD 15,000 or more.

The University of Toronto is a public university, therefore the tuition fees for international students and domestic students are different. Also, your tuition fee will depend on the type of course and the level of your study. However, the general, the average cost of an undergraduate course at the University of Toronto for international students is CAD 60,000 per year and for a postgraduate course, the estimated tuition fee is CAD 27,000 per year. The tuition fee may vary depending on the course/program you have chosen.
