Yes it is mandatory for Indian students to take a comptence check, starting from Winter 2026/27 semester. This competence check can take place in person or online at all the VFS Global locations. This is applicable for the students who wish to enroll in the Bachelor's, Master's or Diploma courses of Vienna University. Appointment booking fee is EUR 100 or INR 11k.
