UPES Eligibility

Aspirants who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology, and English in Class 12 can apply for BTech/ BTech (Hons) course with JEE Main or CUET score. Aspirants must secure at least 50 percentile for admission to through SAT India score. For aspirants who wish to apply with their merit in the last qualifying exam must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 75%-80% aggregate and a minimum of 75%-80% aggregate in Class 12 PCM subjects. In case a candidate has not appeared for any of the specified exam, he or she can appear for UPESEAT. As soon as the selection round is over, aspirants will need to prove their eligibility by provding necessary documents for verification. 

UPES Dehradun accepts JEE Main/ CUET UG score for admission to BTech/ BTech (Hons) course. Aspirants must also Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology, and English in Class 12 to apply with JEE Main or CUET score. Candidates must secure at least 50 percentile for admission to through SAT India score. Candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate along with Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology as one of the major subjects in Class 12 can apply for the BCA course. Aspirants meeting the eligibility requirements can apply for any of the BCA specialisation. Candidates can choose the specialisation of their choice in the second year of the course. BCA is available in three specialisations, namely Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Internet of Things. Additionally, candidates will be shortlisted for BCA based on CUET UG score. Aspirants who have not appeared for the entrance exam can come for personal interview round. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The total tuition fee for BCA ranges between INR 3.42 Lacs and INR 4.82 Lacs as per an unofficial source.
