Aspirants who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology, and English in Class 12 can apply for BTech/ BTech (Hons) course with JEE Main or CUET score. Aspirants must secure at least 50 percentile for admission to through SAT India score. For aspirants who wish to apply with their merit in the last qualifying exam must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 75%-80% aggregate and a minimum of 75%-80% aggregate in Class 12 PCM subjects. Selection for UPES Dehradun BTech course depends on JEE Main/CUET UG scorecard. Alternatively, 50 percentile in SAT India Score and 75%-80% in Class 12. Or, you can also appear for UPESESAT which is conducted by the university. The eligibility depends on minimum marks of 50% in aggregate for Class 10 and Class 12. The subject combination is as follows: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English in Class 12.

Yes, candidates can get admission at UPES Dehradun for BTech after Class12. Check below eligibility:
- Minimum 60% marks in both Class X and Class XII.
- Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class XII.
- JEE Main score of at least 50 percentile, along with:
- Minimum 50% marks in Class X,
- Minimum 50% marks in Class XII, and
- Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM.
In case a candidate has not appeared for any of the specified exam, he or she can apply for direct admission.

Candidates who have qualified any of the specified entrance exams must complete Class 10 and 12 with 50% marks. PCM or Bio and English as compulsory subjects in Class 12.

Candidates after completing Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate can apply for the BBA course. The university offers BBA in 27 specialisations through the UPES School of Business. Some of the BBA specialisations, include Finance Management, Operations Management, Marketing Management and Human Resource, etc.
Additionally, UPES Dehradun admission to BBA course will be based on national and university-level entrance exams like UPESMET UG, UGAT or CUET UG followed by a personal interview round. Applicants must have a Graduate Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline with 50 marks in aggregate secured from a recognised University or Institute. Applicants appearing in the final year qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they submit the proof of their eligibility the latest by October 30, 2021. Up to 30 percent of seats shall be filled through the National Level Tests category like CAT, MAT, XAT, and NMAT. In case applicants for such seats are not available, UPES (Admission Office) has the right to fill these seats through Master of Business Administration (UPESMET).
