Hi Kunwar, both the colleges are good and located at different places. So, it depends on your interest in which college you are more comfortable. Although, if you don't have any relocating problems then go for UPES, Dehradun without any hesitation. The placement scenario, faculty members, infrastructure all are better than Prestige Institute.
Best of luck.

As per UGC guidelines no one Colleges/Universities can withhold the original documents on account of fee. University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued a warning to universities and colleges against the retention of original documents of admitted students and non-refund of fees in case an admission is withdrawn within one month. As per reports, the higher educational institutions will be penalized with a withdrawal of affiliation and deemed status, and barred from receiving any assistance from the UGC if they fail to follow the directive. So you should immediately report to Chairman UGC immediacy along with necessary evidences.

Dropping a year for law is not as much worth as gaining one-year experience in this field and I'll suggest you to opt for the UPES as this college will provide you more practical knowledge than the book knowledge by involving you in the day to day live practical sessions which is not in the SLS.

There is a form available on UPES website fill that form. They have two more criteria for admission apart from entrance exam. One is JEE Mains marks (last year cut off is below 100) and 12 boards marks (last year approximately 8085%). This year cut off is around 70% marks in class 10th and class 12th or you have 70+ marks in JEE. Check the UPES website for the online admission form.
