You will go through your core books in the civil engineering branch and also keep focusing on the aptitude part and Maths part also for the GATE exam because GATE cut off is based on your caste and you need to prepare well for not qualifying but also keep trying to achieve a good rank in GATE to be placed in government recognized companies directly.

Hi, Preparing For the civil services exam requires a good strategy to crack the Exam. With a good strategy you can easily crack Civil Services examination. To an extent only, you can practice and study but under the guidance of a good coach, it would be better. My personal suggestion of such a coaching is Alchemy IAS Institute, in Calicut, Kerala for aspirants in Kerala. They provide you with a good strategy to prepare for Civil Services. They also provide study materials, which are available on their website.

Hello Kumar, YES. FOR DETAILS READ THE BELOW MENTIONED DETAILS. The candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from a recognized University. That could be any stream from humanities to engineering, private to government college or university. Also see being eligible for UPSC based on the stream is not enough you also need to be within the Age limit as well as mentioned in the UPSC Civil Services Exam Age Limit: Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years of age and must not be more than 32 years of age. General Category & EWS: 32 years; 6 attempts. It varies for reserved categories and differently able categories.
