Dear Akash,
MIT USA is really an exceptional target. The acceptance rate of MIT is only 5-6%. Means, only 5 or 6 were able to get admission out of 100 applicants from around the world. However, in class 12th, you need PCM. My suggested path is as follow; (1) Try to get admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Kerala for B.Tech Aerospace. (2) Have at least 5-7 years of work experience in core jobs. Without this, it will impossible to be there. (3) Prepare very hard for GRE. Arrange 2 LORs, 1 SOP and excellent Resume. Good Luck

Hi Manjinder,
The question is quite confusing. I failed to understand what you want to study in USA. Well of course, if you want to apply to an undergraduate course, your class 12th performance is the main requirement. Your percentile in class 10th, class 11th and class 12th will be of critical importance. Even for Masters, they will need your class 12th percentage, but your undergrad percentage will be given more importance. So, yes basically you must qualify and earn the basic credibility to study in USA and all countries abroad.

Hi Meet,
Well perhaps, you should first decide what to study. There is an endless list after CFP, or you may even apply for a job, but you need to first decide what your career path will be like and then decide the course of action. You can take up more certifications and apply for a license or do an MBA or Masters in Taxation or Financial Planning.

Hi, to enroll into an undergraduate programme in USA, an applicant must clear the SAT or ACT. SAT subject tests are required by top ranking universities. You must also excel in extracurricular activities because universities wants to see how a student developed his profile in addition to schoolwork. JEE Mains is not required. Even if you are applying for an engineering course you must take SAT and SAT subject tests or ACT with writing. You must also take the TOEFL. For more information and specific requirements you can check university websites.
