A very wide industry, it includes Government tourism departments, Immigration and customs services, travel agencies, airlines, tour operators, hotels etc and many associated service industries such as airline catering or laundry services, Guides, Interpreters, Tourism promotion and sales etc. Travel and Tourism enterprises include major internationals with a workforce of thousands, to the small private travel agent with a handful of employees. TO fare well in this industry you can pursue BBA in Travel, tourism and hospitality , look for good colleges like UTM, NITHM ,Surajmal these are good colleges. Placement wise UTM had done pretty good in the last placement. All the best.

There are many types of courses available on Travel & Tourism industry, like there is certificate programes offered by institutes like YMCA and then there are also degree programmes like BBA in hospitality travel and tourism. If you are looking forward to do Travel and tourism related studies, then i would always suggest you to take up the degree course that is BBA in hospitality travel and tourism rather than the certificate programe. The certificate is just a mere training, but the Degree course will give you an indepth knowledge and better understanding plus the degree applicants for a job is always given the top priority and position. I would suggest you to go for a BBA in hospitality tours and travel from good institutions like UTM, Asian academy of FIlm television, YMCA as these colleges have very good placement and courses.All the best
