Tourism Statistics includes statistics regarding visitor activity (such as arrivals/departures, overnight stays, expenditures, purpose of the visit, etc.) associated to different forms of tourism (inbound, domestic and outbound), tourism industries activity and infrastructure, employment and tourism satellite accounts. Domestic tourism is tourism involving residents of one country traveling only within that country. A domestic holiday is a holiday (vacation) spent in the same country.

Travel is an activity that is undertaken by individuals and group of individuals. People travel for personal work, for business and for enjoyment. Tourism refers to the business or industry that is engaged in providing services and facilities to tourists - that is, people on tour - for their travel related needs.

A course in Travel & tourism Industry would help build the foundation knowledge of the industry and groom you to be part the industry under various private & government sectors of Tourism, aviation and customer service industry. Although, the salary packages may vary depending on the organisation &job profile but be assured that the aviation & tourism industry is one of the highest paying industries globally. To start your career in travel and tourism industry, you have to do some certificate or degree course like BBA in hospitality, travel and tourism. TO be eligible for that you need to have these qulaifications: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks. You could also opt for a diploma,
