With a rank of 43,000 it is very difficult to get computer science engineering course at VIT Vellore even through management quota.
But you may try for other campuses which will not be equal to Vellore campus.
The fees will be around 6-7 lakhs per annum or even more.

With 12609 rank you cannot get admission for CSE in VIT, Vellore but you may get it at the Chennai campus. So if you can pay more fee like 5 LPA then you may get the Vellore campus.

It is a dilemma whether you can get a seat or not with this rank. You may get a seat only through management quota. So you better attend counselling and try it.
You cannot get the top branches like CSE, mechanical, etc. so you may get civil, chemical, etc. by paying a huge fee.

Yes, go for the counselling of VIT as it will help you to get your desired branch and VITs is in top 8 colleges in India and has a very good position all over India.

You have secured a very good rank in VITMEE. You will get VLSI in Vellore campus. Attend the counselling and book your seat.

Both the colleges have almost same average package. In VIT the fee is little high as compared to PSGIM , but the both the colleges has some unique feature based on various aspects. Yes ofcourse in VIT the package is little higher when compared.
