VIT is one of the reputed universities in India. Lakhs of people write the entrance exam and only few manage to get an admit. So its definitely worth pursuing Bachelor's of Technology at VIT also the placements are really good. When it comes to the specialisation, do what you are interested in. Civil engineering is one of the best field. Also the field has lot of job opportunities in a developing country like India. Finally it depends on your field of interest. VIT has its own entrance exam called VITEE. It does not accept JEE mains score. Marks and rank scored in VITEE will determine your admission to vit.
