Arts University Bournemouth offers scholarships for all Masters programmes. Applicant should the demonstrable high level of past achievement either in education or through professional experience such as employment or in creative practice. Total offer is of 1500 for all Master's Program except Animation Production 2000 and Film Production 3000. Scholarships will be available in January.
JMC Academy Diploma in Animation
The Diploma course will introduce you to the art and practice of animation in both its 2D and 3D glory. In trimesters 1 and 2 you will be able to get hands-on with the design and development of characters and worlds you may have previously only imagined, using drawing and visualisation techniques. The application will open in February.
JMC Academy Animation Scholarships
JMC Academy Creative Industries is offering animation scholarships for the Australian students. JMC Academy's scholarships cover the tuition fee for the first year of study. 18 scholarships are offered each year. Applicants must have demonstrated an interest in pursuing a career in the creative industries. The application deadline is 18th December.
Randy Pausch Scholarship Fund
The Randy Pausch Scholarship fund for undergraduate and graduate studies program is offered by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. Two scholarships worth of $2,500 is offered. The students of USA can apply for these animation scholarships.

There is lots of scope in VFX field. In this field, you have carrier opportunities in various departments like to work as compositor and clean-up artist, Roto artist, Cplor corrector artist, Match mover Artist, Fx Artist, Matte Painter, VFX Generalist, Stereoscopy Artist, Video Editor ect. Presently requirement in VFX is on air, if your work is good you can fetch up good job in this field.
Salaries are in the range Rs 12,000-15,000 for freshers. But after experience in MNCs like Pixar, Technicolour (Bangalore), Rythm and Hues (Hyderabad) , Red chilies, Prime Focus, DQ entertainment etc salaries are more than software engineers. Actually there are some guys with 5 years of experiences who are getting Rs 70,000 per month.VFX is really a cool career because VFX industry demand is increasing in India also abroad. In India,there are already many visual effects studios that provide visual effects for Bollywood films and some of them now provide visual effects for Hollywood as well.
