VIT Vellore

VIT Vellore conducts counselling round after shortlisting students for admission. The institute shortlist applications based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 and fulfilment of the eligibility requirements. At the time of counselling, shortlisted candidates have to report at the institute and submit the important documents for verification. After the document verification and admission fee payment, seat is allotted to the candidate.

VIT BCom selection is based on the Class 12 for the recognised board with 60% marks for general category (50% for SC/ST category). It is mandatory to qualify the eligibility criteria. 

The admission to its management courses is based on the candidates' performance in the Common Admission Test conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) every year.
