Yes, the placement cell of VIT Vellore support students in grabbing international internship opportunities. The students becomes eligible for placements and internship programmes in their fifth semester. As per the VIT official website, the placement centre place an average of 10 students every year in top MNCs. Some of the countries in which the students have grabbed internships are UAE, Germany, Italy, China, Taiwan, Japan, Ireland, etc.

VIT Vellore campus life is almost the same as any other college in North India as per the various reviews of the college students online. Many cultural programmes/fests are conducted on campus by the societies that keep the atmosphere lively for students. Moreover, North Indian students shall not face any difficulty in reaching out to the Faculty and Administration as almost everyone speaks in English in the academic blocks. Hence, there is no language barrier and difficulty in discussions with the authorities.

There are a total of 5,340 seats for the BTech programmes at VIT Vellore. Each of the course specialisation has a certain seat intake. As per information available on the net, VIT does not have a provision of seat reservation for the reserved category candidates.
