The VITEEE is not the only factor considered for admission to VIT (Vellore). For BTech admissions, the Vellore Institute of Technology administers the VITEEE; however, for MBA programmes, it also takes into account national entrance tests like as CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc. In addition, admission to other programmes like BCA, BCom, MSc, MCA, BSc, BSc (Hons), and others is determined by the cumulative score on prior qualifying examinations or degrees (merit-based).

To register, go to vit.ac.in, the official website of VIT, and select 'New Users may register here'. After completing all the fields, click "Register." Click "Verify OTP" after entering the OTP that was sent to the registered mobile number. Select the 'Application Form' link on the following page. After checking the "I am aware" box, select "I Agree." After entering all additional necessary information, click "Save." Click 'Proceed to Pay' after noting the application number. Click 'Pay Now' after selecting your preferred payment method.

Placements: Nearly 95% of students get placements on campus. The highest package is 70 LPA, the lowest package is 8 LPA, and the average package is 15 LPA. Both BITSAT and VITEEE are one of the highly competitive private engineering entrance examinations. Since the syllabus of both the exams consists of topics from 11th and 12th standard syllabus, the difficulty level of BITSAT and VITEEE can be considered similar. Along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, both exams also assess the students on their English, Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. Students with 65-75 marks out of 120 will have a fair chance of getting admissions through VITEEE 2023. The cutoff for admissions will be prepared based on various factors related to the entrance exam. However, it is to be noted that only those candidates who secure a rank of up to 1 Lacs will be eligible for admissions into VIT Vellore and Chennai campuses. VIT University offers a full-time MCA via School of Information Technology & Engineering (SITE). The duration of the programme is two years. The Deemed University, every year, conducts Vellore Institute of Technology Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE) to offer admission to the MCA programme. VITMEE is a computer-based test that is held offline at several centres across the country. Final admission is subject to a personal interview (PI) round of the shortlisted candidates.
