The admission process at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT) Mumbai is conducted online, facilitated by an admission cell for documentation and onboarding assistance. VIT Vellore conducts counselling round after shortlisting students for admission. The institute shortlist applications based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12 and fulfilment of the eligibility requirements. At the time of counselling, shortlisted candidates have to report at the institute and submit the important documents for verification. After the document verification and admission fee payment, seat is allotted to the candidate.

VIT BCom selection is based on the Class 12 for the recognised board with 60% marks for general category (50% for SC/ST category). It is mandatory to qualify the eligibility criteria. 

VIT Vellore BCom fee is a cumulative of various fee components, such as tuition fee, hostel fee, caution deposit, and more. Some of the fee components are refundable, such as caution deposit, while tuition fee is a recurring charge that has to be paid annually/semesterly.
