As per discussion with a current student of VIT, the general cutoff for VIT AP campus is given below: CSE cutoff was around 35000 -40000 rank in Category -1. The eligibility rank for counseling call in VIT for the students who have secured rank under 1 lakh.

If we compare both the institutions on the basis of studies, faculty, quality if education and placements, I would totally recommend you vit Vellore over thapar university. Teachers in vit Vellore are exceptionally good and also you can choose your own teacher which is the best part
In terms of placement: thapar is above VIT. COLLEGES OF SIMILAR LEVEL CAN ONLY BE COMPARED WITH EACH OTHER. The highest salary package offered was 43 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 11 LPA. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is better than VIT. Thapar has various international rankings, excellent placement records, a qualified

Thapar university is better over CU in many terms such as placements, crowd, facilities, reputation etc. However, Thapar charges more than CU but it is worth to take admission in Thapar. Chandigarh University B.E. (Hons. ). In CSE (Information Security) in Collaboration with IBM course is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 21 genuine verified students while VIT Vellore same course is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 9 students at Shiksha. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is better than VIT. A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with 65% aggregate in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). No entrance exam needed. But you can get Vit Vellore in M.Tech integrated with 95.7% in pcm. You can get only through management quota than you can get M.Tech Integrated programme in Vellore. Edit: well VIT just announced they will taking admission for M.Tech based on B.Tech performance. And for integrated B.Tech and M.Tech, 12 marks will be considered. Without writing 10 paragraph I just want to say that if you want CSE in first category in Vellore than your rank must be below 5900 then u definitely got CSE. And if you are doing your best then you definitely got good ranks in CSE

No, VIT-Andhra Pradesh University, Amravati does not accept Andhra Pradesh EAMCET Score for admissions. The admissions in B.Tech courses are on the basis of JEE Main or VITEEE. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering With a Specialisation in Business Systems is a four-year full-time undergraduate programme offered by the VIT-Andhra Pradesh University, Amravati. VIT- Andhra Pradesh University was established in the year 2017 and it is a private college.
