If you have applied for VIT Vellore, it doesn't matter if you are talented or you can qualify any entrance exam, there is a huge difference in applying and clearing.

It's a casual problem and almost everyone is facing the same. So you just browse through another browser another browser.

VIT University is an excellent option for doing engineering degree but it will take few more years to create brand image and reputation similar to legacy IITs and NITs. Even new IITs have brand image of an IIT.

Actually, with that rank, I don't think that you can get any good CSE, do try something else.

VIT is really a good college for computer science engineering. VIT has a very good placement record and can boast of upto 90% placement. While the jobs may seem futile and worthless, they matter to those who belong to the lower rung of society and aren't as fortunate as others. I've seen people with low pointers get placed in reputed companies such as Deloitte, Bank of America, IBM among others. And for someone who really knows their craft, sky is the limit with VIT's backing.

I think you can do it better for now. I think it is a good rank but not the best. Try to achieve the best one.

It depends upon the IT company.
As VIT is very good for CSE, expecting salary will be around 40k-50k.
After gaining some experience and more practical knowledge, it will increase around 70k-80k.
Some big IT giant companies are willing to pay above 1L p.m. for hiring some talented engineers.
