It is possible to switch from one branch to another at VNIT, but it depends on several factors, such as your academic performance, the availability of seats, and the policies of the institution. Typically, branch change requests are considered after the first year of the programme, and the eligibility criteria for branch change may vary from institution to institution. You would need to check with the academic department or the student affairs office at VNIT for specific details on their policies and procedures regarding branch changes. In general, branch changes are usually subject to certain conditions, such as maintaining a minimum

It really depends on your interests and goals. If you are looking for a more research-oriented field, then CSE at NIT Nagpur, Jaipur or Kurukshetra might be the best option. However, if you are looking for a more industry-oriented field, then ECE at NIT Warangal might be a better option. Ultimately, the best choice depends on what you are looking for in terms of career opportunities and your personal preferences.

One of the top ranking universities of India - the Lovely Professional University gives direct admission to the students scoring equal to or more than 85 percent in JEE Mains. They are given scholarships as well. However, those having scored less than 85 percent need not feel disheartened. They can appear for LPU NEST the entrance cum Scholarship Exam of LPU and appear for the proctored test sitting at home. You may get a huge scholarship as well. Let me tell you the NIRF ranking of LPU is 51 in engineering. Hope this answers your question. Good Luck.

It depends on perspective of every individual, I would like to share my perspective.
Civil is a good branch, you have so many interesting subjects to learn, many people choose to avoid giving civil a preference 'cause they think Civil me placement nahi hota' 'Construction site par kaam karna padega .But civil has so many sub branches (Structural, Environmental, Transportation, Water Resources, Construction technology, etc) which gives a good opportunity for further studies.
I agree that the placement scenario of civil is poor if you compare it to Mech, CSE, ECE, EEE , but if you are good with your subjects it shouldn't be a problem.
