Hi,It totally depends on your interest that in which college you are more comfortable and interested. Both the colleges are good, still you can prefer CUSAT due to more opportunities at the time of placement. Only low paying IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys visit IEM Kolkata, while you might get more opportunities at CUSAT. Best of luck.

Each and every department including civil department has 20 seats for lateral entry.
Out of which, 1 seat is reserved for SC, 1-2 for ST and 4-5 for OBC.
