Well, generally, students look for a good enjoyable campus/ college life and as well as good placements. When I finished my class 12th exam. I was also thinking like this. I went to techno and came to know that they are charging a high amount of fees. I had financial issues, and Moreover I got my desired biotechnology stream here in UEM with lower fees and good faculty members. Hence, I joined UEM and I have some friends in Techno. So, I often hear from them how they are enjoying their college life, having fun. They have a good luxurious campus life without much restriction. If money is not an issue, you can think of techno then. Go through the techno india website. Now coming to UEM, here you will not be able to enjoy that much (though of course you can enjoy a lot outside the campus). We don't have a playground. No student can bunk a single class as very strict rules are there. Under 75-80% attendance you are not allowed to sit for exams (unless you have a serious medical issue). Discipline is very important here. Last but not the least, UEM gives same importance for strong academic result, technical events, innovative ideas, workshops and guest lectures. Moreover UEM is under IEM group. Search on Google, you will find out that it's one of the top engineering Colleges of west Bengal. So same standard of education is also here just like IEM. Some IEM teachers also teach here. Now regarding placement, I will say that both are new. Expectation of placement is same for both. Can you please tell me which branch you are thinking of?
