International students can work for max 20 hours per week off-campus along with studies and full time during vacations or academic breaks.

Students can work at more than 1 jobs as long as they stay within this time limit. Working 20+ hours in a week is violation of Mauritius student visa rule. This can lead to termination of same resulting in deportation from Mauritius.

As the University of Mannheim admissions, the work experience is more of a general admission requirement than a mandatory one.

The university generally needs strong candidates who are academically inclined and have relevant qualifications like -

  • A UG degree with a really good GPA
  • strong English proficiency requirements by tests like IELTS, TOEFL or PTE

The application should be made via uni-assist along with an application fee.
