For undergraduate (UG) admission in 2024, Gargi College, like most colleges affiliated with Delhi University, relies solely on the scores of the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). They no longer consider class 12th percentages for UG admissions. So, if you're aiming for a B.Sc, B.Com, B.A. (Hons), or any other UG programme at Gargi, you'll need to crack the CUET. This nationwide exam assesses your knowledge in five domains: languages, domain-specific subjects (e.g., Physics, Economics), General Test, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Reasoning. Here's what to know about CUET for Gargi College admissions:Choose the right subjects: Based on your desired B.Sc program, select the relevant domain-specific subjects in CUET. Unfortunately, as of today, December 28, 2023, the minimum cutoff for M.Sc programs at Gargi College for the 2023 admission year hasn't been officially released yet. Admissions for some M.Sc programs might still be ongoing, and cutoffs are typically declared after all rounds are completed. However, I can offer some alternative approaches to help you get an idea about the potential cutoff range:1. Check previous year's cutoffs: This can give you a rough estimate of the range for your desired M.Sc program. Look for the official Gargi College website or reliable educational portals like shiksha.com for past cutoff information. Remember, cutoff trends can fluctuate slightly every year, so don't consider them definitive, but rather a helpful reference point.2. Contact the college directly: The Gargi College admissions office might be able to give you an estimate of the expected cutoff range for your program. Check their contact information on the college website and give them a call or send an email with your inquiry.4. Talk to alumni or seniors: Reaching out to current or former Gargi College M.Sc students can also be helpful. They might have firsthand knowledge about the recent cutoff trends and admission processes for specific programs.Remember: Admission to Gargi College M.Sc programs is often competitive, and the minimum cutoff can vary depending on the program, category, and overall applicant pool. Having a realistic understanding of the potential range will help you manage your expectations and plan your course of action.
