Shanmugha Arts Science Technology & Research Academy enrols the BTech students in two separate streams- 1 and 2. 70% students are absorbed in stream-1, who have good scoring in JEE as well as 10+2 exam. While, 30% students are taken in stream-2, who are enrolled on the basis of marks obtained in their 12th standard examination. However, the marks percentage may change every year. Hence, checking the university website is the best option to seek. 

SASTRA University has a very strict process for admission,   divided into steam I and stream II. Stream I consists of 70% of the total seats available, and is based on the combination of your JEE and 10+2 scores. While, Stream II consists of 30% of the total seats and is based on your 12th Board Examination marks. Also, incase you are an applicant under the Stream II, you must complete the admission process within 2-3 hours after you find your name in the merit list.

SASTRA university is a better choice as it has a better nirf ranking which ensures that it provides better educational facilities than other universities in the area. But this does not gurantee that Periyar Maniammai University would be a lesser good. Both universities have their pros and cons. 

The minimum cutoff for BA LLB (Hons.) at Kirit P. Mehta School of Law is 85 marks in Common Law Admission Test exam. However, the school accepts students through three entrance exams: Common Law Admission Test, Law School Admission Test, and National Law Aptitude Test . The cutoff information for each entrance exam may be different, and the highest score in any of these exams will be considered for admission.

Yes, you can get Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, BA LLB (Hons.) with a 76 percentile in CLAT. The scores obtained in CLAT 2024 are accepted by prestigious National Law Universities (NLUs) participating in the exam. 75-85 is a good score in CLAT 2024 for general category to get admissions in top NLUs. Similarly, 60-70 is a good score in CLAT exam for SC/ST category.While this may be the case, the competitive score for NLUs starts from 78- 80.
