The SRM Medical College offers admission to the B.Sc. in Cardiac Care Technology course based on the following criteria:
1. Age: Minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age limit is 30 years on or before 31st December of the year of Admission.
2. Qualification: HSC / 10+2 / Plus two or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology from a recognised Board/University in India.
3. Percentage of Marks: Minimum 50 % aggregate of marks in PCB.

Additionally, students must meet the eligibility criteria as per the government of India guidelines for reserved category admissions.

The admission criteria for B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering at SRM IST includes:
1. Nationality and Age: Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India.
2. Qualifying Examination: Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern).
3. SRMJEEE (UG): Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English & Aptitude in SRMJEEE (UG) are eligible.
4. Direct Admission: Available for eligible candidates.
The applicant should have their 10th mark statement ready and should have passed in Higher Secondary Examination (10, +2 pattern) or appeared in Higher Secondary Examination in the current academic year with a minimum of 60% aggregate (3 subjects) in Physics, Mathematics and at least one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and Zoology as major subjects in regular stream from any board within India, CBSE, ISCE, IB or NIOS.

For admission to BTech in Mechanical Engineering at SRM Institute of Science & Technology, exceptions or exemptions to the 60% eligibility requirement include direct admission & scholarships to first rank students of all the central & state boards in India, top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu, & exemplary sports persons at National & International level.
