Dear Dhanraj, Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials Science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery. The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream and they both got placed in Hyundai India Motor Ltd. LPU alumni are working in top MNCs across the globe like Voltas International, Honda Two Wheelers, Asahi India Glass Ltd. , Indo Farm Tractors Ltd. etc. LPU Students have been offered International locations like Dubai and Oman by Voltas. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). Hello Shubham, You are getting a chance for admission in CSE in UPES but only EEE in SRM. I feel that you should accept CSE since this is the only branch which shows promise of jobs 4 years down the line and getting your desired branch in SRM looks quite remote. Best wishes to you.

And as far as CSE is considered Amity School of Engineering will not be able to offer you with a job offer of more than INR. 4 Lacs as far as current placement scenario of the college is concerned.
