Yes, you can. Go to the campus/call the admission team and talk to them. They will surely help you out. But they will charge you some money.

Yes you should write or you can take admission directly during the admissions process. Many seats are left so to fill those seats they take some of students but for that you have to book the slot earlier.

For computer Science engineering I will prefer UPES. For automobile engineering I don't have much idea. In UPES CS branch get good placements. If you are above average student then you will get good package in UPES.

SRM conducts all the placement process at Chennai main campus. Students from other campuses have to travel if they want to attend the process. Mostly all the campuses are giving equal opportunities but if you have an option go for Chennai camp

Your rank in srmjee is very good. You can easily get every branch of engineering in the main campus of SRM University which is SRM - Kattankulanthur. But please select the branch of your interest only.
