SRM is better as it provides central placement facility. SRM, Sonipat is a newly established university.

SRM is better as it provides central placement so the degree from SRM cannot be treated as waste. It will also help in off-campus placement.

SRM, Sonipat is newly established i.e. 2013, if it follows central placement policy then you can get good placement if you are worth it.

Both are the best, popular, prestigious and govt. reputed universities! Comparing both of this, the first priority should be given to SRM! But if you are getting VIT then go for it!
Good luck!
