Management is actually about getting admission directly through management instead of your ranking. To get into SRM through management quota, you should directly approach the admission office and try to avoid the intermediaries, as all of them will try to dupe you for money. These intermediaries are mostly college students who take advantage of naive students and their parents and dupe them of thousands of rupees. All of them will claim to get you the admission at a rate lower than others, but no one can get you the same at a rate lower than what university has set for the respective branch and campus.
Hence, if you are planning to get into SRM through management quota avoid these intermediaries.

As you will be completing software engineering from Ramapuram campus you may not get the salary packages of those who complete from KTR campus.
The average salary package will be 3-4 lakhs per annum. At the main campus, the highest offer ranges from 10-20 lakhs per annum or more.

SRM is a good option as it has best placement, faculty and strong alumni record so you try in SRM.

It is not a very well known engineering college in the country or in the state or in the city. This is mainly because it is being recently started. The faculty in the departments are pretty decent but not very great. I have heard that focus on research is good in some departments like mechanical and automobile, but is really bad in some core departments like Electrical. Placements are not that great.

I think your rank will be around 40000-60000 or more as per your score in SRMJEE and this score is not enough to get a good branch or even admission into SRM University and its campuses. Maybe you can get the Delhi NCR campus.
Try in the counselling.

I might sound harsh, but I will be honest. Recently most companies are going for core companies. However, it might be in all the colleges, but now most of the companies ask for mechanical engineers instead of automobile engineers. Even core automobile companies like Maruti Suzuki prefer mechanical engineers. So, I would suggest, that if you are too much into automobile, take mechanical engineering and later take up automobile engineering for your Masters.
