Both are good in terms of placement. SRM can be be little bit expensive than VIT.

SRM and VIT are more or less the same. There is not much difference between the two universities. Therefore I would suggest you to join the one that is comparatively cheaper.

Hi Chetan, the admission in SRM University is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university. But it is not for Diploma students as the eligibility is 10+2 completed or appearing for it .

I cannot say about SRM but PES is mainly known for it's CSE branch. If you want to join PES especially for Civil then I would not suggest you to do so.
