The university conducts SRMJEEE in three phases, with Phase 1 registration typically closing in April, followed by Phase 2 and Phase 3 starting in June and July, respectively. No, it is not compulsory to take SRMJEEM if a candidate already holds a valid score from recognised entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT, TANCET, or SAT India. SRM IST considers all these exams as alternative for eligibility. However, for applicants who haven't appeared for any of these national-level tests, SRMJEEM becomes the mandatory test to qualify for admission. SRMJEEM is conducted entirely online and the syllabus includes sections such as Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English, GK, and Data Interpretation. Qualifying candidates must also pass the personal interview conducted by SRM IST for final selection process.
