Travel hosts are from different countries, background and ages but they all share some common traits. They are lively, confident, and not afraid to get stuck in. You need to be relaxed in front of the camera, be a natural at interacting with people and be happy and enthusiastic at whatever the world throws at you.
The more practice you have at speaking in front of people, the more relaxed and professional you will become.
Hope this information helps. Feel free to raise questions.

Hi Rajesh,
Yes, doing a different course will help you building a career but only if you know what you want. What are your career plans? Make a plan and figure out and choose a course accordingly. You may not get entry into a high level job initially but if you are ready for a career change then go for it.
For MBA programs you will require work experience of 2-3 years. You must also submit a GMAT score. It is often not mandatory for a graduate diploma in New Zealand. As far as eligibility goes, it seems you are quite fit for NZ. Please check websites of some universities and communicate with them for admission related information.
Good Luck!

Hi Abhay,
Your choice of specialization depends in which industry you want to build your career in, as also your interest areas.Tourism and Hospitality Management is definitely a growth sector. An HR specialization on the other hand will broad-base your career options as with Human Resource Management, you focus on people management and form the backbone of any organization.
HR management plays a key role in the fields of human resource development, personnel management and industrial relations.
Some institutes offering hospitality/tourism courses at various levels like graduate, PG, diploma etc:
1) Indian Institute of Hotel Management
2) National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology
3) Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration
4) Institute of Advanced Management
5) J.P Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology
6) Institute of Hotel Management Bangalore
7) Amity School of Hospitality
8) Mumbai college of hotel management & catering technology (www.mumbaicollege.com)
9) National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management etc
