Although it may not be a compulsion to pursue English honors specifically considering the basic eligibility to pursue a career in travel industry is minimum 10+2 or preferably a graduate in any field.However considering that travel jobs generally involve frequent interaction with people from various location hence Good command over English becomes an advantage at time of job interviews.

Even if you run a travel blog, you earn a lot of money because people are now looking towards a new direction of life, with internet people can earn from anywhere, so most people travel and work online and hence has boosted the travel sector by 80%. You can pursue BBA in Travel, tourism and hospitality , look for good colleges like UTM, NITHM ,Surajmal these are good colleges. Placement wise UTM had done pretty good in the last placement.
