Hi, Tour management is the career that involves the overall arrangements of a tour or Event based tour. A Tour Manager sees to it that all aspects of a professional entertainment tour run smoothly. The duties overseen by a tour manager may include booking the performances, arranging for transportation and meals for both the artists and the crew, securing lodging, completing accounting tasks and hiring and firing personnel.The tour manager may also mediate conflicts between personnel members involved in a tour. A bachelor's degree may be required by some employers, while others are looking for applicants with some internship experience. Organization, interpersonal skills, listening skills, problem-solving skills, business skills, creativity, etc,. are some of the skills required for this career. Hope it helps. Absolutely, you can do . BBA in tourism is one of the most pursued course like a hot cake by the students, as this is the age of travel and internet. This domain attracts a lot of money and opportunity. Even if you run a travel blog, you earn a lot of money because people are now looking towards a new direction of life, with internet people can earn from anywhere, so most people travel and work online and hence has boosted the travel sector by 80%. You can pursue BBA in Travel, tourism and hospitality , look for good colleges like UTM, NITHM ,Surajmal these are good colleges. Placement wise UTM had done pretty good in the last placement. Yes definitely you would be required to plan a tour along with the reservation that you would be doing.As the reservation would be made on basis of the itinerary, the lodging, food and travel would be interlinked.
