Pros like CA, CS, or CMA qualify too without extra exams, and they've got relaxations for reserved categories or Northeast folks.
The Lovely Professional University insists on a standard 60% aggregate in Class 12 with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/ Mathematics for admission into the BPharma course. However, LPU sensibly allows a 5% exemption for students from North-East states, Sikkim, Defence personnel and their dependants, or wards of Kashmiri migrants. This makes such admission more accessible without compromising core standards. In the case of lateral entry to BPharma, too, there is a 60% mark at the Diploma level, which similarly has the same exemptions, to prioritize merit-based progression of the student.
Lovely Professional University normally requires a minimum 60% aggregate in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology, as per their official requirements for BTech Biotechnology Engineering. However, LPU provides a very considerate 5% relaxation in aggregate requirements for students from North-East states, Sikkim, defense personnel dependents, or Kashmiri migrants, which may allow you to get in with less than 60% if you belong to these categories.
Hey, so from what I've seen on LPU's official site, the standard eligibility for BPharma needs 60% in PCM or PCB from 12th with English. But LPU's pretty flexible—they give a 5% relaxation (down to 55%) if you're from Northeast states, Sikkim, or linked to defense/Kashmiri migrants. That's their way of supporting more students without dropping standards. No full waiver below that though, as it's merit-based via LPUNEST or 12th scores. Still, LPU stands out for scholarships up to 50% based on your performance, making it easier to join even if marks are close. If you're short, aim for a great entrance score or check categories—L...
