<p><span lang="EN-GB">Candidates who have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate (65% aggregate for SC/ST) are eligible to take admission in a BTech course of IIT Jammu. However, there is no minimum aggregate requirement to take the JEE Main exam. Aspirants must have the Class 12 pass certificate as well. The document is required for verification purposes at the time of admission and form filling.</span></p>

<p>The admission to MTech at IIT Jammu is entrance-based. Candidates are required to appear for GATE exam and secure a good score. A cutoff list is then released to declare the minimum score required for selection. Candidates who meet the cutoff score become eligible for participation in COAP counselling. During counselling, the seat allotment process is carried out. The candidates who get a seat in IIT Jammu MTech courses shall report at the institute to submit important documents and pay the admission fee amount.</p>
