#NITian,

There is no compulsion for you to sit for JEE Advanced. You can attempt only for AAT to get a seat into one of the IITs for B.Arch. You should have cleared your JEE paper 2 and have a percentage of at least 75% in your 12th.

The admission to IIT architectural courses is through the JEE Advanced not JEE Mains. The people who qualify for JEE Advanced have the option to appear for a separate architectural aptitude test conducted after the announcement of the JEE Advanced results based on which the allotment of seats is done there. Through JEE Mains paper 2 you can apply for other institutes like SPA, BIT Mesra etc for the architectural courses.

If your JEE Mains marks are good then apply for state counseling. Although there are still some colleges who give admission on the basis of JEE Advanced marks. Check for such institute and assure your seat there.

Hello Ranjita,
The minimum percentage in 12th board exams is 75% for general category and 65% for SC, ST and PWD candidates. You need to secure the above percentage or should be in the top 20 percentile students from your board means you should be in the top 20% of students from your WB board.

IIITs are difficult to get. While admission in IITs are based on JEE Advanced ranks so participate in JEE Advanced if qualified in JEE Main. Tryout Sastra Thanjavur or JIIT Noida on the basis of your 12th marks.

Hello,
Greetings from Shiksha!
Since every college is having their entrance exams even the probate universities are having the entrance exams so there are very few colleges giving admission on the basis of class 12th board. Also, getting information regarding that is quite difficult so better prepare for any entrance exam.
Hope this got cleared, good luck!

Hello, hope you are doing well.
No, you need to score 75% without any back in 12th class. Then only will you be eligible for JEE Advance counselling. If you failed in physics, you must clear that exam and if secured 75%, then only you will get the best JEE Advanced college under category quota SC.
All the best.

It is unlikely that you will be able to secure admission in ISM Dhanbad, MNNIT Allahabad, or BHU with a CAT percentile of 45. These institutes are among the top management colleges in India and typically have very high cutoffs for admission. The cutoffs for these colleges generally fall in the range of 80-90 percentile for CAT. However, there are many other good management institutes in India where you can apply with a 45 percentile in CAT. You can explore some of the other good institutes such as Amity Business School, Delhi School of Management, Christ University, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, etc. These institutes have a r...
