Lateral entry is normally restricted to within the state. So, if you are domicile of Punjab, then perhaps you can get admission laterally in PTU.

You have to appear for LEET entrance exam, then you can pursue B.Tech from Mumbai through lateral entry.

Not sure because the number of seats are very less, approximately around 9, hence it requires a very good rank.

It's perfectly possible to get lateral admission with less fees.
Fees are least in Govt college. COEP is very good college. If you want admission here then you will have to study well in diploma and score very good marks.

There are several state government colleges which give lateral entry on the basis of merits. So, try your state technical university first. Other option is also available. Many private universities are providing lateral entry.

Sorry, it would be difficult at your percentile.

Unfortunately, there is not even a decent B-school anywhere in India, where one can get admission with that low score in the CAT exam. And the ones you might get won't simply be worth enough to pursue MBA; turning out to be a total waste of both your precious time i.e. 2 years as well as money (in Lacs). I suggest you to either reappear for CAT (or other exams as per your wish) next year or focus on the other upcoming exams like MBA CET and MAT.

This will ensure that you don't waste a year. Anyone of these tests is to be taken, not both. Now there is no upper limit to pursue law, if you are interested in the field of Law, you can apply and hope you will get admission there is also precedent and judgement given by SC on the same issue, so according to me you can appear for the same without any hurdle.
