coz Your rank will lie somewhere b/w 130000-200000 if Your board % is b/w 80-90%
admission for general category student close somewhere 30000-50000
unless u r from reserved category u will not get any of the IIT.
but u have qualified JEE Mains
so try for any private college where u can get admission thru JEE Mains,there u will get scholarship too.

Cut offs vary every year and also depends on the number of applicants. A good idea would be to follow the previous trends, but that may not be the scenario this year. Get in touch with their admissions office.

In order to get into this super 30, you have to qualify the following:
- You should be from an economically poor family.
- Past 12th with 60%.
- Qualify for the test done by them at around army and June.
The application can be had from the office of Ramanujan School of Mathematics at the 1st week of May.

Nowadays many people take a break and prepare for IIT's so there is no drawback in dropping, so it is recommended first you go for B.Tech from good colleges rather than thinking of GATE.

What would be better if you get a chance of completing your Masters in mathematics from the top colleges in India? Through IIT JAM exam, you will be able to get admission in the famous IITs and the IISc for your Masters in mathematics.

CAT is meant for IIMs and other business schools including two IITs school of management. 97 percentile is not an ordinary score. You will get opportunity to study with good business schools.

Chances are less at this score. You can apply for IIT-Roorkee, IIT-KGP, IIT-Madras, IIT-Kanpur. IIT-B/D have a higher cut-off, unless you have a good work/academic profile.
