Indian Institute of Technology offers various online courses to students like Industrial Biotechnology, The Science and Business of Biotechnology, Introduction to Genetics and Evolution, Introduction to Physiology, Dynamics and Control, The Basics of Transport Phenomena, and others. As far as I know, there are no lateral admissions in any of the three BITS campuses. Haven't come across any such case as yet. The only way to get into BITS for undergraduate degrees is through BITSAT or being a board topper and join as a fresher.
I believe there are some other criteria for admission to M.Sc. (Tech) courses for Pilani residents (don't really know about that), but that's probably not applicable to most people and neither is it for lateral entry.

you can apply for different institutions level entrance test for M.Tech . Many universities and institutions also conduct their own entrance for those who have not a valid GATE score.
like Jamia Millia Islamia University or Aligarh Muslim University

Yes, there is an entrance exam for BBA.
The basis of an entrance test conducted by the institute offering the course.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds followed by the entrance test. Final admission is granted to candidates on the basis of the scores obtained in Qualifying Examinations.

You can get admission in 2 ways:-
Offline admission through management and online admission through CAP rounds. You have to fill in a form for registering in the CAP round and then you can fill in your first preference as computer science in RAIT. If your marks satisfy the cutoff you will allotted RAIT (computer science). You need to be very careful while filling in your college preference(important) if you want computers in RAIT fill it as your 1st preference.

There are some private colleges who are providing Biotechnology like Amity Noida, IMS Ghaziabad, etc. You can directly contact them for there admission. And if you want to be in government college like MNIT Allahabad. You should have to be appear in any of these exams. JEE, AKTU, etc.

Make sure you score high percentage in class 12th. After that, you can apply in many institutes like BVIMR, Amity, IP University, JIMS, and Jaipuria. There you will need to first clear written exam & then sit in GD or interview or both, as per their process.
