Yes, you should be able to handle that. Though it isn't easy, if you have prepared well, you should be able to ace it. I've even witnessed a lot of medical students (who also studied math) succeed in JEE. By the way, you shouldn't have chosen commerce as your path if you wanted to pursue engineering. Students toil for years with JEE as their primary goal if you keep it as a side choice. You can't possibly make JEE your second choice, though it's not impossible but will take some serious hard work.
Hi Sajad,
Most of the states will be having entrance exams for it. Go through that exams you will be having questions depending upon your specialisation in Diploma and as per the CET ranking you will be allotted with the college.
Thanks.

To get admission through JAC, you just have to score the minimum percentage required in these colleges, I. e, 70%. Moreover, you need to focus more on the Mains paper.
To get admission on any IIT's you have to good rank on JEE(ADVANCE) or for NIT's you have to be meritorious on JEE (mains). then according to category reservation and cuttoff can get admission.
Many government colleges don't accept JEE scores as the entrance criteria. They conduct there own entrance exam, but the last date of many exams is gone.
With your class 12th marks, you can get admission in top private colleges with management quota (paying extra money).
Or you can get direct admission in some average private college like Chandigarh University and CGC-Landran. To get admission in CGC for B.Tech in CSE, you just need is 75% in class 12th and it is a good college.
All the best.

No, you either need to give the LPU-NEST or qualify any of the competitive exams of your field be it JEE Mains for PCM students, NEET for bio students etc and so on. Your 12th marks will decide only your eligibility not your admissions. Moreover, I suggest giving LPU-NEST because paper is much easier rewarding you proportionally more scholarship than other exams. Thank you.
