Hello Deepak,
The principal aim of lateral entry is to save on one year before getting graduation degree. But B.Tech with evening classes does not fit into this since it takes more time in any case than normal B.Tech. However, I would advise you to approach your intended college administration for clarification.

The syllabus will be related to the 2 years of your college curriculum. You can also follow the GATE syllabus. Many subjects of lateral-entry syllabus are common in GATE. Thank you.

Yes, you can only if the university under which your college and Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering and comes allow the inter-college transfer. And also there should be vacant Seats to take admission in Sasi or any other institute. You also have to score high in first year to get that seat. Also, there a specific process to change one's college and to go in another college. You can ask more details about this process to Admission head of your college or Admissions Department or head of Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering.

You have to attend a course conducted by SASTRA University during the summer holidays after the completion of polytechnic exams. The duration of the course would be 30 days. Admission through lateral entry in Karnataka State is being done Only through KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) and Diploma CET is a must. Hence, the fee for Lateral Entry students will be only as fixed by Govt. of Karnataka plus College Fee.
