Most of the people prefer to prepare itself only so don't get dishearten and work hard, and regarding books, you can choose Cengage and Arihant Publications books for both physics and maths and for chemistry books like NCERT, Top Tandon, Ranjit Shahi, etc.

Dear Student, The JEE Main Cutoff 2022 has been released recently, and usually the cutoff is of two types: the qualifying and the admission cutoff. The qualifying cut-off is mandatory to cross in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced. I believe you are referring to the admission cutoff for JEE Main here, which will be the opening and closing ranks for each institute and will be released by JoSAA (joint seat allocation authority) for various B.Tech courses. Yes, you will have to appear in JEE mains after your 12th and if you qualify it you will be eligible for JEE advanced which is the gateway for IITs.

If you are in general category, you can't study in IIT after class 12th with only 60% marks.
But, if you belong to OBC /ST/SC category, then you may be eligible to take admission in IIT.

Okay. First of all, you have to Qualify your 10+2 exams with Maths (if you have not qualified yet). Then, you have to apply for JEE Mains Exams and then for JEE ADVANCE Exam. I hope you are doing well. Yes defiantly you can prepare for IIT-JEE examination along with your 12th board. So you need time management and allocation for each and every subject you are studying. Do allocate some time for 12th preparation and then allocate some time for JEE Mains and Advance preparation. Go through this schedule you will get good result.

But for actually getting admission, one definitely needs to pay prescribed fees for that particular course selected. Candidates need to pay the tuition fees in IITs applicable as well as other fees as indicated by the IITs at the time of admission.
