The minimum marks in 12th board to get admission into IITs are 75% for unreserved categories while it is 65% for reserved categories. As you don't have the required score, you cannot get a seat at the IITs. So, you need to give improvement exams or you can try for any other colleges.

And you shouldn't be waiting till after grade 12 for preparing for IIT, you should start straight away by looking at the content of the JEE examination and studying yourself/in a coaching class. You have made only half statement without asking any query. Can you re-login and ask a proper query to enable correct answer?

<p>According to the rank and category mentioned by you in the question you have almost no chances of getting into any of the IITs even after considering 10% reservation quota for EWS as cut-offs for EWS category closes around 1000-1500 in all IITs as per past cut-off trends.</p>

<p>CUET UG scores are not accepted by IITs. Common University Entrance Test for UG is conducted for admission to state, central, private, deemed and government institutions. Admission to UG courses of IITs is offered through other national level entrance examinations.</p>

You can go to IITs only after completing 10+2 and IITs don't offer a course in information technology but they offer computer science engineering. IT is just one aspect of application of computers. As such applications are adequately studied in CSE and EE programs they don't offer a separate course. You may opt for CSE from top IITs. To do so, you need to have PCM for sure as you need to secure a good rank in JEE main and advanced exams. Then you can take computer science with PCM.
