For ISM (IIT) Dhanbad, the closing rank was 10491 and 9484 for the year 2017 and 2016 respectively. There is no information about the sectional cut-off online. You may get your doubts cleared by contacting the institute directly.

For CSE, no doubt, it’s IIT Mumbai. Mumbai’s CSE is the most desirable branch in India as well as a large part of the whole world.
Though, it needs a huge hard work as well as dedication as one having air less than 55 will get the branch from general and 110 from SC or ST.
Though, Madras’s CSE is also not bad but one cannot compare Mumbai’s CSE with Madras’s.
Now a days, IIT Delhi’s CSE is coming into name as the placements and results from Delhi are much better than Mumbai.
Also, IIT Mumbai was placed behind the IIT-Delhi in the QS world rankings.

Well , it was not so two years ago before. But everything is fine now. This branch is coordinated by chemical department if IIT, Roorkee while two years ago it was in Saharanpur campus. This branch has most of the course common with chemical department and there is great possibility of research work. If you are getting non core branches in newer IIT then prefer IIT, Roorkee. If you are considering branch change it is sure that you will get biotech or metallurgy by securing only about 6 CGPA in general category. <p>IIIT Hyderabad has been ranked 55 under the Engineering category by the NIRF in 2023. On the other hand, IIT Hyderabad has been ranked 8 by the NIRF in the same category in 2023. Talking about the placements, the highest and average package offered during IIIT Hyderabad placements 2023 stood at INR 69 LPA and INR 32 LPA, respectively. On the other hand, the highest and average package offered was INR 65.46 LPA and INR 20.46 LPA during IIT Hyderabad placements 2023, respectively. Therefore, it is safe to conclude that IIT Hyderabad is better than IIIT Hyderabad.</p>

Yes, those who are in their final year of their graduation can apply for the JAM Exam. But, they must submit all their documents by 30th Sept 2018. IIT JAM exam will be conducted on 10th February 2019. Placements, IIT- Bombay is the best since inception, it has offered near 100% Placements for students and 20% of them already have PPOs. Moreover, average range for Aerospace goes from 8 to 20 LPA and hence, makes it an attraction for various students. The college offers state of art Faculty plus best Infrastructure to maintain quality education. With IIT madras, the internships provided here are very minimal for this specialisation specifically and The Placements for Aerospace is bit mediocre since, not all students get exact core opportunities in Defense, aeronautical space, hence, does not have edge over IIT madras. There are many coaching institutes which have good results in IIT and NEET examinations but last year I found one coaching named Altus Knowledge which was giving a guaranteed selection. Firstly, I thought they are just fooling people but I still asked my brother to give it a try and he successfully cracked the IIT Mains paper with their distance based product. They asked us to pay after selection which attracted me.

Hello,To appear in IIT JAM Exam you must have a graduation degree in an discipline from any recognized university with minimum 55% marks for General & OBC and 50% marks for SC, ST categories. You need to satisfy all the other eligibility criteria as well if you want to appear in IIT JAM Exam.
