IIT JAM is an entrance exam for M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, etc., to pursue M.Sc from different IITs. Biochemistry is one of the subjects in M.Sc in Chemistry.

With good knowledge, you can crack these exams. Although, there are students in IIT, who scored 60 to 70% in SSC.
